From 2026, Devonport Domain - around 800 metres from Devonport Village - will play host to the Harcourts Cooper & Co Devonport Half Marathon.
Nestled along the waterfront on King Edward Parade, Devonport Domain is a historic seaside park which plays host to the North Shore Cricket Team and Devonport Rugby Team. The domain sits directly opposite the inner Waitematā Harbour, offering sweeping coastal views and immediate access to the scenic shoreline walkways that lead toward Torpedo Bay. Framing the perimeter of this green space is an exquisite collection of beautifully preserved heritage homes, including classic Victorian and Edwardian villas that showcase Devonport’s rich maritime history.

Venue Map
The finish line lies towards the southen end of the vast Devonport Domain, meaning a thrilling one hundred metre long finish chute awaits as you enter the venue from the north side. Registration tents for bib pickup on Saturday will be on the Cambridge Terrace side of the venue and a convenient entryway down into the park from Cambridge Terrace is right next to the "Catch a Coffee" cafe.

Devonport Domain is located about 1km from Devonport Village along King Edward Parade. The main event venue is in the south-west quadrant of the playing fields, next to the playground and "Catch a Coffee" coffee shop. The venue is surrounded on all sides by elegant Victorian villas and sits in a sheltered bowl, below the level of surrounding streets.
The half marathon will start on King Edward Parade right on the harbour side and overlooking the beach. All other events will start nestled amongst elegant villas on Tainui Rd on the north side of the venue. Event portaloos are easily accessed from the venue and start lines and will be located in the car park (closed to all vehicles) on the corner of King Edward Parade and Cheltenham Rd.
